Cards with precise controls
Issue virtual cards immediately after eligibility checks, order physical cards where available, and govern merchant categories, geographies, and channel limits from one dashboard.
Virtual and physical in one program
Card access follows account approval and additional card-risk checks. Availability varies by jurisdiction and verification depth.
Virtual cards
Digitally provisioned numbers for online and in-app wallets where supported. Ideal for subscriptions, travel bookings, and isolating merchant risk.
- Instant display after approval
- Freeze/unfreeze without waiting for plastic
- Optional single-merchant or short-life numbers on eligible packages
Physical cards
Embossed or laser-engraved cards shipped to a verified address. Contactless and chip & PIN where the scheme and region allow.
- Delivery tracking after production
- Activation required before first use
- Replacement workflow for loss or damage
Spending controls you can actually use
- Per-transaction and daily purchase ceilings.
- ATM cash withdrawal on/off and amount caps.
- Merchant category blocks (for example gambling or high-risk codes when offered).
- Country or region locks for travel periods.
- Online vs. in-person channel toggles on supported schemes.
- Push or email alerts for every authorization attempt.
Delivery, activation, and PIN
Physical cards are produced after address verification. Standard delivery windows are communicated at order time; remote regions may take longer. Activate in-app or via authenticated channels, then set or reveal PIN through OTP-protected flows.
Failed delivery
Returned shipments pause the card until you confirm a corrected address. Repeated failures may require enhanced address evidence under client protection processes.
Security posture for card programs
Tokenization for eligible wallets, 3-D Secure challenges where merchants support them, real-time fraud scoring, and rapid freeze. Report unauthorized activity immediately via Help or in-app messaging. See the long-form Security page for OTP, encryption, and monitoring principles.
Frequently asked questions
When can I get a virtual card?
After account approval and card eligibility checks. Some profiles require funding or additional documents first.
Are physical cards available everywhere?
No. Shipping and scheme licensing constrain certain jurisdictions. Ineligible profiles see virtual-only options if any.
How do I freeze a card?
From Cards in the authenticated app or web session. Freezing blocks new authorizations; pending captures may still settle.
Who pays foreign transaction fees?
FX and cross-border scheme fees follow the published schedule. Review Fees and the pre-purchase FX notice when converting.
Can employees get cards on my personal account?
No. Commercial card programs require a business relationship. See Business banking.
What if my card is declined abroad?
Check region locks, available balance, and fraud rules. Temporarily widen geography only for travel dates you control.
How are disputes handled?
Submit a dispute with transaction details promptly. Provisional credit is not guaranteed and depends on scheme rules and investigation outcomes.
Can I order multiple virtual cards?
Package-dependent. Additional virtual cards may carry fees and separate limits.
Is contactless always on?
You can disable contactless where the program supports the control. Some terminals still require PIN for higher amounts.
How do replacements work?
Report loss, freeze the old card, and order a replacement. Prior number is invalidated after cut-over.
